Stag's Leap Wine Cellars Hands of Time 2009

Stag's Leap Wine Cellars was founded by Warren Winiarski, a former university professor. He continued to educate, and mentor, young winemakers from the earliest days of the winery. Quite an impressive roster of winemakers spent parts of their early careers at Stag's Leap, including Bob Sessions of Hanzell Vineyards, John Williams of Frog's Leap, Richard Ward of Saintsbury, Ricardo Herrera of Screaming Eagle, Paul Hobbs of Paul Hobbs Winery, Michael Silacci of Opus One, and John Kongsgaard of Kongsgaard Wine and Arietta. To honor all of those hands who have had a part in shaping SLWC, they have created this Meritage blend, calling it Hands of Time.
