Regaleali Le Rose 2006

"On the Regaleali Estate one can find thousands of roses, all subtly different; brought from all over the world, they thrive there. The Regaleali rose` is now dedicated to these stories of love and friendship. The name has changed, and so has its appearance, but unchanged are the grapes, above all the Nerello Mascalese which gives the Rose di Regaleali its class and unquestionable fragrance. Wine is a passion for Tasca d’Almerita and Rose di Regaleali is homage to this love.

Bright, deep and intense pink in color, Le Rose offers an intriguing yet delicate bouquet of cherry, raspberry, blackberry, and mulberry. Rich, persistent with refreshing acidity, this is what Sicilians enjoy in the torrid summer. Great with fish, poultry, spaghetti with clams, fried calamari and risotto marinara."
