Merryvale Beckstoffer-Vineyard X Oakville, Napa 2001

Rich in history, the Beckstoffer Family's Vineyard X is located on the Oakville Ranch and produces dark, concentrated Cabernet Sauvignon contracted exclusively to Merryvale. 2001 marks the third vintage of this limited-production wine. Native yeast fermentation, 33 days on teh skins, twenty months in thin-stave French oak Bordeaux barrels. Bottled unfiltered.
