Hogue Merlot Wahluke Slope Reserve 2006

"Wahluke Slope, at 1200-ft. elevation, overlooks the Columbia River in Easter Washington. Pristine water from Cascade Mountain snowfields and sandy loam soils combine with long, warm days and cool evenings to produce fruit featuring dense currant and black cherry flavors with concentrated color and tannin. Aged 25 months in French oak, this wine will continue to develop another 6-10 years."
