"While the Grenache-dominated 2006 Chateauneuf du Pape Elisabeth Chambellan Vieilles Vignes possesses more body, depth, and richness than the regular bottling, it retains the sensual, fleshy, voluptuous style favored by Boisson. Its medium dark ruby hue is followed by a melange of black cherry, raspberry, garrigue, and loamy soil characteristics. Full-bodied, fleshy, soft, and plush, it should drink well for 10-12 years."
