Corte Giara Amarone Della Valpolicella 2005

Wine Description:
Made from 70% Corvina Veronese and 30% Rondinella, this wine is named after the courtyard where the Allegrini winery and traditional family house are located. Once fermentation in stainless steel tanks is complete, the wine is matured for 20 months in wood for extra richness and finesse.

Tasting Notes
Intense ruby-red in color, this Amarone has aromas of ripe black cherries, prunes, red berries, chocolate and vanilla. Intensely flavorful with smooth and balanced tannins, this wine pairs well with braised meats, wild game and aged cheeses. Serve at 60 degrees Fahrenheit, and open an hour before drinking.
