"Brunello di Montalcino is made from Sangiovese Grosso 100% grapes - known locally as "Brunello". The wine is aged for three years in small oak barrels and for 12 months in the bottle before being released. It is a full-bodied and assertive wine even when young with aromas and flavors that will develop over time in the bottle. It is well-suited to extended aging thereby developing impressive structure and complexity."
